Voices that bring the festival to life
Meet the people who will take part in the conversations, experiences and gatherings of Festival Hola América 2026.
Gabriela Pérez Guerra
Marian Gabriela Pérez Guerra is the Education for Inclusion Lead at Casa Refugiados in Mexico City, where for the past five years she has supported community processes with refugees, migrants, and local communities. A Nicaraguan recognized as a refugee by the Mexican state, she embraces that status as a political stance that affirms people’s agency and dignity. She is a social communicator and holds a degree in Human Rights and Peace Management, and is a member of Asociación de Nicaragüenses en México. She brings to the Festival a perspective that connects lived experience with community-based peace education.
